Award Auditions
The DYMF holds a series of live/open auditions for its awards through the year.
To apply you must be studying music aged between 16 and 23 and a recognised practical qualification such as an ABRSM grade 6 or higher, A/S level or a Degree, where music is the dominant subject.
For the chance to win one of our prize, you will need to attend one of our audition venues on the dates published and perform your chosen music.
The date and location of those live auditions will be published on our website and announced on our social media.
The music you play or sing should be no longer than 10 minutes in duration.
The music can be classical or contemporary, or one of your own compositions and you can be accompanied by a pianist.
Please ensure you have have a copy of the music score you are performing for the adjudicating panel to review.
When you arrive at the Auditions you will be required to complete a basic personal detail form which will require the following:
Your full name.
Age.
Residence.
Educational Institute.
